God’s love is truly amazing! He loves us right where we are, yet He loves us too much to allow us to remain there. God desires that we continually grow and mature in Him. At times it seems that life’s lessons become more and more difficult, just as the lessons of formal schooling do. And just as we submit to learning in school, we need to submit to the life lessons that God has for us. If we reject God’s “homeschooling”, we miss out on the best, and the most needed, education we could ever get. While formal education prepares us for life now, God’s homeschooling prepares us not only for life now, but also for eternity. Where could we find a better teacher than God, who always has our best interests at heart, is with us every minute of our life, and whose love is beyond understanding?
O God, help me to always be willing to submit to your teaching.
